Girl's Room Idea's For A Very Pink Room

Alexis and Allie will be sharing a bedroom very soon so I brainstormed some idea's that I love. Olioboard is SO much fun!! I should've been an interior designer!! The above picture is what I picture the girls room eventually looking like down the road. (Bunkbeds are great because they take up less space in the bedroom, but they recommend children be at least 6 before using the top bunk). Also, disregaurd the comforter's (I was unable to change them) as the girl's already both have beachy comforter's. Clint will probably never go for the idea of wallpapering their bedroom either-but I found a beautiful wall stencil that I love. Let me know what you think of these designs, leave me a comment!

Future Master Bedroom Designing Fun

Just in time for summer I have stumbled upon the best online invention ever-Olioboard. This is almost more addicting than Pinterest! It is a free website designed for people to create furniture designs for their personal uses such as a bedroom, kitchen, dining room, family room, children's room, etc. The website allows you to chose fabric colors, patterns, furniture, lighting, etc that you like. Then you can place each item in the room. And best of all, after chosing your 'favorite items' there is a link that will take you to the website where the item is sold, show your the price and description. I have been wanting to update the master bedroom for quite sometime and now that Alexis will be moving out soon I have started to brainstorm ideas.

We kept the original white chairs (from Target) and purchased two new seagrass chairs from Pier 1. The new kitchen table is from Haverty's and seats 6 with the added leaf. Our family of 5 needed a bigger table to seat everyone and we had to find a table that would fit in the tight space. I am really happy with how it all turned out! Soon Alexis will be sitting at the table in a booster chair and the high chair will be gone for good!

Allie's Preschool Graduation!

Congrats to the future class of 2025! Wow! I feel old now!! Allie graduated from preschool last night. She had a lot of fun at preschool making new friends, learning new things and creating many memories. Her favorite class was music and she also enjoyed art class. Each week the children attended chapel, art and music. And every month they had a special visitor. Mr. Beatman (local children's entertainer) would come, the traveling petting zoo, Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, a karate instructor, the fire department, etc. She was always super excited to go to school and looked forward each day to going to see her teachers, Ms. Sue & Ms. Lisa.

Yesterday was her very last day of preschool. They had a picnic lunch and invited the parents to attend. The children had a pinata too! Following the picnic each child was given a sand bucket with their names filled with goodies that their teachers had made for them. Then the teachers handed out personalized photo books for each child filled with pictures taken from the whole school year. This was such a nice gift and Allie was so happy to have pictures to remember her friends and teachers.
