Where did November go?!

Sweet baby girl is already 6 months old!!

where does the time go?!

Hunter climbed out of his crib one morning & decided to make a MESS!

He moved all of his diapers onto his bed...

Long story short-Hunter is now sleeping in his big boy bed!
and Alexis is now in her crib :-)

She loves the crib-it sure beats the tiny packnplay she was sleeping in for the past 6 months!

Hunter's Birthday Party

This must be where Hunter got his blonde hair from! :-)

Hunter's 2nd Birthday!!

It is so hard to believe that my sweet little baby boy is turning TWO in just a few days! The past two years have flown by!! It seems like just yesterday that he was born. One of the happiest moments of my life was on November 9, 2009 at 8:26 am when the nurse handed me my sweet adorable little baby boy. I guess I am getting old because the days are really flying by, it feels like once I had children that time started to fly by!! haha. We threw Hunter a birthday party this past Saturday, the theme was 'construction'. He really loves dump trucks, tractor's & diggers. Hunter is such a sweet boy & he is very laid back. He is a great big brother-if Alexis cries he will run and get her binky and bring it to her or he will get her a toy.

Hunter's favorite foods are homemade mini pizza's and Kraft mac & cheese. His favorite fast food is Chickfila nuggets-he will not eat McDonald's nuggets for some reason, only Chickfila :-) He enjoy's watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in the mornings with Allie on the couch and he also loves to sit and read books. He loves to run around and be chased-he is SO quick! Hunter has been taking a gym class at RompNRoll for the past two months & he LOVES climbing the rock wall, bouncing on the trampoline & crawling through the tunnels. He plays well with the other children and shares really well. He is a good listener and a quick learner.

Hunter is starting to speak in short sentences and he knows the ABC's, basic shapes & he can count to three. Go Hunter! He loves doing puzzles & flash cards. We are working on colors now. He says "I love you Mommy/Daddy" at night at bed and he also frequently says "Allie mean" if Allie is bossing him around :-)

HaPpY HaLlOwEeN

Alexis' FIRST Halloween!

I think I did a pretty good job carving our pumpkin!

love my little lady bug!

Choo Choo Train Conductor, lady bug & Tinkerbell

Despite the cold rainy night the kiddies still went trick or treating, they bundled up with their coats & umbrellas. Hunter was really into it and even was saying 'twick or tweat' :-) Baby Alexis didn't even mind the costume & happily smiled although she did not get any candy. Allie and Hunter's favorite candy is M&M's and smarties. Mommy's favorite candy is Twix & Reese's. Daddy loves just about anything but we gave him the ones that aren't kid friendly. Overall it was a great Halloween!

Preschool Halloween Parade

Allie's preschool had a Halloween parade this morning~everyone looked so cute! Allie was of course Tinkerbell (her very favorite Disney character). After the parade we went back to the classroom to take some pictures. This afternoon they are having a Halloween party at school complete with lunch, games and decorating cookies. Allie was so excited to dress up today for the parade.

Trike-A-Thon

The Big Race

Allie is really too big for her trike

Yay Allie!

Hunter & Gigi cheering on Allie

Allie had so much fun at her preschool's Trike-A-Thon! Her favorite part was getting her face painted for the very first time! Each class raced on their bikes and trikes and everyone received a medal afterwards! Hunter enjoyed seeing the firetruck and big rig but refused to climb on board. Allie raised $200 for the Trike-A-Thon and completed 5 laps on the course! Go Allie! This is the preschool's biggest fundraiser of the year, complete with bake sale & Scholastic book sale. Thank you to everyone who donated!

The Girls Get Pierced!

Allie at Piercing Pagoda in the mall

Allie having her ears pierced!

She cried for about 2 minutes afterwards...

then got another lollipop and was a happy camper!

Alexis Grace got her ears pierced too! She only cried for about 3 seconds

Cubic Zirconia earrings

Allie eating her ice cream afterwards :-)

So Cute!
The girls team decided to head to the mall today and have their ears pierced! Allie had been talking about it for a while now. She did great and only cried for a few minutes afterwards. The baby did great also and hardly even cared, crying for just a few seconds initially. Allie chose 14k gold silver ball earrings like mommy's and Alexis got 14k gold cubic zirconia earrings. We can change them in 6 weeks but will probably keep Alexis' in for a while. Allie already has her eye on some cute tinkerbell earrings! Oh and the sign at Piercing Pagoda that reads "Free Ear Piercing" is SO misleading...do not be fooled. The piercing may be 'free' but you must purchase the earrings which are NOT cheap!
