Hunter loves to climb into the fort at the top and pretend it is a pirate ship! Allie loves climbing the rock wall and Alexis loves swinging of course!

 

Santa!

What a difference a year makes! This year the kids were SO excited to go and see Santa. Last year Hunter was not so sure about this Santa guy and Allie was bribed to sit on Santa's lap. Alexis smiled at Santa and did not have a care in the world when I placed her on his lap. She looked up at him and couldn't care less. Flash back to 2 Christmas' ago when Hunter was TERRIFIED of Santa at this same age that Alexis is:

Elf On The Shelf Arrives

                                            The Davis Family Elf on the Shelf has arrived!
This is our first year to have an Elf and let me tell you, it is fun for both the kids and for me! There are lots of fun blogs that have awesome Elf idea's. Here is one of them: http://wannabedomesticdiva.blogspot.com/2012/11/elf-on-shelf-linky-party.html

Basically the Elf watches over the children during the day and then at night flys to the North Pole and reports to Santa if the children have been naughty or nice. The children can not touch the Elf or he (or she) will loose their powers.

We celebrated Thanksgiving Day by decorating our Christmas tree and watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. After nap time we went to Gigi & Poppy's for Thanksgiving dinner. Unfortunately the big kids did not venture out of their comfort zones and try any of the delicious meal. Alexis did eat some ham, mashed potatoe's, cranberry sauce and crossant roll. Clint's favorite was the deviled eggs and my favorite was the mashed potatoes. I baked a homemade apple pie for dessert.
